The appellation Côtes de Provence is 20 000 hectares wide and covers 84 communities in the departments of the Var, the Bouches du Rhône and the Alpes Maritimes. This zone goes through Provençal soils like Limestone at the West and North, up to crystalline Provence South and East. The result of the variety of this terroir: there are different types of Côtes de Provence with their proper personality from geological and climatic differences. The appellation offers a large and rich palette of colors, with expressive and clear Rosés, fruity and dark Reds, and brilliant and floral White wines.
